What's it worth? Know before you buy.

DealWorm values the item on the page you're looking at. It identifies the item from the listing's photos, prices it from recent sold listings and current ads, and shows you the evidence.

Free to install. New accounts get $0.25 of free checks.

How it works

Open a listing, click the DealWorm icon, and read the evidence.

  1. Open a listing

Any page with an item for sale: a marketplace post, a classified ad, an auction or a store's product page.

  2. Click DealWorm

The side panel opens and reads the item's title, asking price, description and photos.

  3. Read the evidence

It identifies the exact item, finds recent sales, checks each sale's photo against yours, and gives a quick-sale, fair and top-end price with the sales behind it.

Prices you can check

DealWorm shows its work, so you can see why an item is worth what it says.

Identifies from photos

Claude, Anthropic's AI, reads model and part numbers from labels and close-ups. If it can't read the model, it says so instead of guessing.

Real sold prices

Recent eBay sales in your country (US, Canada, UK or Australia), or near your ZIP code if you set one.

Photo-checked matches

Each sale's photo is compared with yours, so a different model or a bundle doesn't throw off the price.

Current listings

A web search for the same item for sale now, with links. Anything the search didn't actually return is dropped.

Clear price rules

Quick-sale, fair and top-end prices from fixed rules, with the rule used and the number of sales counted. When there isn't enough evidence, it says so.

Saved and tracked

Every valuation is saved in your browser. Track prices daily, add asking prices, tags and notes, find buyers, and export a catalog or CSV.

Free to install. Pay only for the AI.

Without the AI you still get eBay sold listings, price trends and links to search other marketplaces. The AI steps cost money, paid one of two ways.

Credits

Sign in with Google and pay as you go.

  • $0.25 free trial
  • $5
  • $10
  • $20
  • Each AI request costs twice what Anthropic charges for it. A web search, for example, costs 2¢.
  • The panel shows what each check cost. Reopening a saved result is free.
  • Credit doesn't expire, and requests that fail aren't charged.
  • The free trial uses Claude Haiku, once per email address. Buying any pack unlocks every model.
  • Paid by card through Stripe. We never see your card number.

Your own API key

Already have an Anthropic account?

  • Enter your Anthropic API key in DealWorm's Settings.
  • Anthropic bills you directly, at its own prices.
  • No sign-in, and nothing is paid to us.

Credits are sold by the developer of DealWorm, not by Google. Unused credit can be refunded within 30 days of purchase: see the Terms of Service.

Your data

DealWorm reads a page only when you ask it to value that page, and sends only what a check needs.

Read the Privacy Policy

  • To value an item, it sends the page's details, photos and a screenshot to Anthropic, and your search words to eBay.
  • With credits, checks pass through our server, which doesn't store them. We keep your Google account email, your balance and your purchase and charge history.
  • Google sign-in shares only your basic profile: your name, email address and profile picture.
  • Your saved items, buyers and lists stay in your browser.
  • No ads, analytics or trackers, in the extension or on this website.

Questions

Is the estimate an appraisal?

No. It's an estimate from public sales, current listings and AI, and AI can be wrong. Check the evidence in the panel before you buy or sell.

Which sites does it work on?

Any web page that shows an item for sale. DealWorm reads the page you're on when you click its icon, so there's no list of supported sites.

Which countries does it cover?

Sold prices come from eBay in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia. Credits are priced in US dollars.

Do credits expire?

No. Credit stays on your account until you use it or delete the account.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. Email us within 30 days of a purchase and we'll refund the unused part of it. The Terms of Service have the details.

How do I delete my account?

Open DealWorm's Settings and click "Delete my account". That deletes your account, balance and history from our server. Any remaining credit is lost, so ask for a refund first if you want one.
